Updated: Apr 18, 2024

The Italian Mentoros’ Guide is now available online!

Over the past few months, the entire consortium of the Mentoring Life project has been working to present the Youth Mentor’s Guide.

This manual is the fruit of collective efforts dedicated to understanding group dynamics within the youth field and fostering the motivation needed for a positive and enduring change in their lives. The central objective is to enhance the capabilities of youth workers in guiding young individuals through transformative processes, whether it be for personal growth or addressing community challenges.

The primary audience for this guide includes youth workers aspiring to become mentors, eager to play a role in facilitating sustainable changes both in the lives of young people and within their communities.

The manual delves into three crucial topics: cultivating critical thinking and problem-solving skills, promoting and sustaining a healthy lifestyle, and providing guidance on career planning and educational paths. The final section details the process, covering group dynamics, the transition from traditional to online approaches, adapting activities for the virtual environment or specific target group, motivating youth, aiding in the establishment of SMART objectives, identifying success indicators, and offering guidance tailored for lasting and sustainable change.

Adding a creative touch to the guide, engaging and amusing graphics have been crafted by our Polish partner, IAiRS, known for their expertise in promotion and communication.

The manual is now available for free download in Italian. Take the first step in this transformative journey by downloading and embracing sustainable change!
