The consortium in Valladolid for the second meeting

projects198

On the 7th and 8th of February, partners met, at ASPAYM facilities in Valladolid (Spain), with partners from Romania (Gamma), Portugal (Compacting), and Poland (Iairs). This is the second project meeting a year after the beginning of the “Mentoring Life: small waves in the big ocean of changes” project.

The meeting aimed to check on the steps done so far from the beginning and  the next steps. Mentoring youth has an important social role in our society and it’s fundamental that youth workers have all the tools needed to accomplish this task. Therefore, the consortium has the responsibility of dedicating the necessary time to plan activities and manage the project to guarantee a good quality of the project results.

The first day of the partners’ meeting was dedicated to Management updates and deadlines for better prosecution of the project. The partners finalized Project result number 1 dedicated to a manual for mentors. The first day was productive in terms of project result number two as well, they started to work on the exercises for the development program aimed at youth and divided them into three different topics: critical thinking, healthy lifestyle, and career planning.

The second-day partners discussed dissemination updates, the website of the project, and the development of the 3rd project result dedicated to video tutorials aimed at mentors and youth.

The next step will be the training in Cascais (Portugal) in May, stay tuned and follow the project on Facebook and Instagram!
